Cabins
Choose between four delightfully decorated eco-cabins, each nestled in their own, unique forest setting. You will be surrounded by friendly Tasmanian wildlife. Each cabin is self-contained with a fridge, gas oven, and enough kitchenware to cook up a storm. Comfortable queen beds have thick mattress toppers and snuggly doonas.
Each cabin is equipped with a dining area, lounge, bathroom, cushions, throw rugs and toiletries. A cosy wood heater and outdoor bath completes the retreat experience.
Acacia Grove Cabin
A contemporary, spacious eco-cabin situated within a Silver Wattle grove, this studio cabin offers expansive views and a mossy native lawn, perfect for watching the resident wildlife as you sit by the fire inside.
Big Tree Cabin
A contemporary, spacious eco-cabin nestled in the forest offering easy access, privacy and spectacular views of old growth forest. Ideally suited for couples it is equipped with a queen-sized bed. A single trundle and a sofa bed are also available.
Clifftop Cabin
A cosy, but spacious two-bedroom cabin perched high in its own private forest grove. The deck has lofty views of the surrounding forest and distant valley and mountain views. A great place to watch the Southern Lights.
Wallaby Grassland Cabin
A cosy, but generous two-bedroom cabin with cooking facilities, a lounge area, bathroom and separate toilet, wood heater, a large deck and upstairs balcony. Treat yourself to an outdoor bath in private, just a short walk from the forest.
Tipees
Imagine waking up in a native American styled tipee! This is not just a comfortable warm, space, but a really unique experience. Great for a special occasion or a little bit of luxury on your camping trip around Tassie. Tipees are strong, timber and canvas construction nestled within natural bushland. They are fully lockable and private, the covered deck gives a close connection to the peaceful surroundings. Kids and adults love this cost effective Tasmanian glamping experience, which combines comfort with nature. Kitchen and shower block are shared with others. The huge outdoor bath can be booked upon arrival, just write your name on the white board at the entrance, left of bathrooms.
Tipee East
Strong timber and canvas construction, 12 volt lights and music, plus a cosy wood fired heater. There’s also a small covered deck outside for you to enjoy in any weather. We can provide an additional mattress with bedding for an extra person.

From access ramps, spacious doorways and roll-in showers, we've taken every step to ensure that our accommodations meet the needs of all guests.
Accessible Facilities
In addition to our accommodations, HBR features accessible facilities and amenities to enhance your stay. Our camp kitchen, amenities and recreational areas are all designed to be wheelchair-friendly, allowing everyone to enjoy the communal atmosphere of our retreats. We also offer accessible parking spaces, ramps, and designated restrooms to ensure that every aspect of your visit is convenient and accessible.
Campground
Our campground is not your average campground. Amenities include a large covered entertaining area, kitchen, showers and composting toilets. You can even enjoy a huge outdoor bath under the stars.
Our outdoor kitchen is the ideal place to share a meal or relax with friends. Furnished with everything you need to cook a delicious feast including bbq, oven, and all food preparation and eating equipment.
Each tent site is private and surrounded by protected native forest. Campervan sites provide level parking for a comfortable nights sleep. They are located close to amenities and are also surrounded by native bushland.
The five kilometre network of bushwalks has something for everyone. From a one minute, bird watching lookout, a waterfall walk, opportunity to hug a giant Mountain Ash, or climb to the mountain top, the choice is yours.
Walk-in Tent Sites
A short walk leads to a private camping spot, close to nearby amenties and activities.
Campervan Sites
Our larger car accessible spots have room to bring in a van or small caravan.
